The National Library of Cuba is proud to announce a Portal for Cuban Public Libraries, an initiative to promote and strengthen the Internet presence of the institutions that make up the Cuban public library network. This first version only includes provincial libraries with web pages. Gradually the rest of the libraries will be added.

The Cuban National Library "José Martí," repository of the memory and heritage of a nation rich in culture and history, hopes this website will help inform an international audience about the daily activities of the libraries that make up the Cuban Public Library Network.
